I have just been looking back at the evolution of my business cards, that have somewhat contributed to creation of my off-net social networks.
I started this craft in 2007, fresh from High School, then I used to be called a Computer Specialist. This is a point where you want to say something like ‘Tumetoka Mbali’ (wish you had a look at what I was offering or best put, wished to offer. And the Yahoo email address, call them the days of ignorance)
Then in 2008/9, I switched to this one here, I realized we’ve people called Developers and I could as well be one of them ;-) And we also needed to change our name from iTech2020 to Deveint after the government short-changed me on the then Vision2020!
After my under-grads, I thought I was sick enough to be a Consultant, so I created this. Actually this is what tries best to describe what I actually do.
Recently, I tried to upgrade my Deveint business card to this one:
Sometimes, I also wear the hat of a GDG Lead, BTW, all developers in Nairobi are welcome to our GDG, go to www.gdgnairobi.info, lot’s of good stuff coming!
That’s part of my journey, I’m still on the pilgrimage. I’m gonna do this until the Lord calls me home.
